The FDA Final Rule & it's relation to the 2009 Family Tobacco Control Act

The passing in 2009 of the Family Tobacco Control Act placed the FDA in the unfortunate position of having to regulate e-Vapor products the same as the 400-year-old tobacco cigarette. The e-Vapor industry is now a 9 year old technology that has and is helping 9 million Americans transition away from tobacco cigarettes. This unfortunate FDA action is a huge boon to the pharmaceutical industry who has tirelessly lobbied against the e-Vapor industry. As of today 9 million vapers will be forced back to the one product, tobacco cigarettes, we know kills over 450,000 Americans annually.
