David is the managing partner of Balvor LLC, which is a sales and marketing firm that provides consulting, sales-support, research, and analytic services to retailers, product suppliers, financial analyst and other organizations. He's a leading expert in small-format retailing, authoring numerous white papers on a wide-range of issues across the entire business and works with leading convenience retailers across a range of areas.

On the supplier side, David has worked with cigarette, smokeless, cigar, and the RYO/MYO branded manufacturers and has authored white papers on the impact of deep-discount tobacco products, growth opportunities in smokeless, how to accelerate cigar profits, and youth smoking prevention. He's provided industry support on taxation issues impacting tobacco at the state level and has collaborated with Convenience Store News over the last several years to examine retailer merchandising practices across the various tobacco categories. David is currently a member of Convenience Store Decisions' Supplier Advisory Board and recently served on the NACS Convention Committee.
